me, the undersigned, a Police Magistrate and one of Her Majesty's Justices of the Peace

in and for the said Colony, who states:---

I ma in the employ of the Opium Farmer & produce: a telegram received by the Allorney of the Opium Farmer, Mr Tan King Sing (hereunto annexed marked 4. By it the Opium Farm is informed that the S. S. Anadyr from Shanghai has on board. liventy two peculs of prepared Spium. The B. S. Anadyr has arrived from Shanghai and is now

in this Harbour.
